Amazonia Gib is a small, casual, family-run Moroccan restaurant and takeaway in Vault 5 on Fish Market Road in the town centre. The food is called authentic Moroccan and wholesome, with a lamb tagine and the vegetable side dishes singled out, the seasoning on everything praised by one reviewer, and a vegetarian calling it the best place to eat in Gibraltar. It is described as cheap, and the owner as friendly and passionate. One party had the staff cook the Moroccan dishes they asked for to mark a birthday.
The dissent is specific. A Moroccan reviewer ordering a beef couscous online in May 2026 received a large bone with almost no meat on it and calls it misleading; another liked everything except a breakfast that did not match its picture and an orange juice that tasted made from powder.

I ordered beef couscous and I’ve literally been served large beef bone with couscous and no meat literally . It was very disappointing and honestly ridiculous that someone would send this out to a customer. This is a small and a very casual place with excellent food! We tried several small dishes and main meals. I absolutely loved the seasoning on everything. The only thing I didn't like is that breakfast meal wasn't as the picture and the orange juice was really bad (tasted like made from powder). I will definately be back to enjoy more foomore →
