• Reviewers describe exactly the route the treaty forced: a driver from the Gibraltar frontier to Tarifa, the fast ferry, and a guide waiting on the Moroccan side. The transfer and the handovers are what people praise, because there are several and they work.
• The guides in Tangier are named again and again, for knowledge of the city and for keeping people from being hassled in the medina. Lunch is included and gets good marks; a camel ride on the beach is the most-mentioned single moment.
• Communication the day before and on the day is a recurring positive, down to being told what to do at the ferry.
• The one hedge people make is length and price: it is a twelve-hour day and not cheap. Nobody who did it says it was not worth it.
