Curry & Sushi is a family-run Indian and Japanese restaurant at the Watergardens on Waterport Road, a short walk from Ocean Village, with an open kitchen and halal cooking. It holds 4.8 on Tripadvisor from 966 reviews and 4.6 on Google from 677, which gives an Index of 4.70. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026 and the newest are from the end of August.

The curry is the draw and the reviews are specific: butter chicken called rich and the best, lamb bhuna with caramelised onions, jalfrezi, makhani, a cheese garlic naan and a peshwari naan each called the best a reviewer had eaten, cumin rice and food that arrives still sizzling. Incredible Curry!
The best curry in Gibraltar? It’s a tough call between Curry & Sushi and Little Bay. I love them both 😎 This is family owned, everything is cooked especially for you, the kitchen is open and you can see them cooking. Never had a bad one. Lovely but slow service
Amazing food, perfect for a date or a family dinner, etc. Conveniently placed just outside ocean village if you fancy a drink afterwards. I have been to curry and sushi multiple times and the vibe is always great, with friendly staff and occupied tables. Whether you choose the Indian or Japanese menu, you won’t be disappointed! Fabulous Indian Restaurant with Sushi
This restaurant was recommended by a local tour guide and it certainly lived up to what he told us. The welcome by the owner was great, she is so friendly and took the time to assist us with food choices. The food was really delicious, the peshawari naan was the best I’ve ever had. Great Indian food close to the marina
My wife and I decided to visit Curry & Sushi because we love Indian food and had 'experienced' the fantastic cooking smells on the previous 3 days as we returned to our hotel in the marina. This restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants that our family have been to ever ! The curries were amazing and the portions so generous ! Everything about our meal was fantastic. The food arrived at our table still sizzling on the hot plates, which was a lovely touch. The cumin rice was perfectly cooked and fragrant.
