Catalan Bay
A fishing village and a sand beach on the side of the Rock nobody visits.
A small former fishing village on the eastern shore, tucked under the cliffs with a sand beach and a handful of restaurants. It is where Gibraltarians go rather than where visitors go.
The bus from town takes about fifteen minutes and the character on this side is completely different — quieter, Mediterranean, with the sheer eastern face rising directly behind the houses.
