Our review

4 Stagioni is an Italian on Rosia Road, south of the town centre, doing homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza and grills in a cosy room with a leafy setting. It holds 4.5 on Tripadvisor from 170 reviews and 4.6 on Google from 347, an Index of 4.60. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026, with the newest from August.

The pasta is what people name. Pumpkin ravioli comes up more than any other dish, 'to die for' in one review and 'a must try' in another, with a butternut squash version, ravioli di carne, a carbonara and a mushroom risotto alongside it. Baked goat's cheese with honey is the starter of choice. The pizza draws its own following for a thin, light, crispy base, one Google reviewer calling it the best in Gibraltar, and two separate reviewers rate the steaks the best they have had on the Rock. A homemade tiramisu and a chocolate brownie close the meal well.

The room and the welcome are described as warm and 'super cute', with live music on some evenings, good vegetarian choice including a veggie pizza and a burrata caprese, and staff who set up a communion party's cake table and decorations without fuss. Several reviewers call it their favourite Italian in Gibraltar and say it is consistent visit after visit.

The dissent is sparse but it is real, and it comes from two directions. Returning customers in February 2026 found a bolognese with no flavour and no longer thought the prices justified the premium over other places in town. A July 2026 couple, whose review appears word for word on both sources and is counted once here, left most of a flavourless spinach ravioli and an onion-heavy carbonara pizza, and say the waiter took the plates away and brought the bill without asking what was wrong. A December 2025 diner reported being ignored on arrival and charged for food that never arrived, and service slows when two staff are covering a large group.

Come for the pumpkin ravioli, a properly thin pizza and a relaxed evening away from the centre, with the steaks worth considering too. Go in knowing it prices above comparable Italians and that a handful of diners, regulars among them, have hit a flat plate or an indifferent response. Do not recommend
We were really disappointed with our experience. To be fair, the food was served quite quickly, which was appreciated. The starter was excellent, although we did have to ask for extra bread to go with the provolone. For our mains, my girlfriend ordered the Raviolacci Verdi di Spinaci and I had the Pizza Carbonara. Tasty pasta and Pizza
We were looking for somewhere to eat near to our hotel and chose here because it had good Trip advisor reviews. We were on our own at first but pretty soon more people arrived to add some atmosphere. Very glad we chose to come here as husbands pepperoni pizza was nice and thin just how he likes them and I chose the butternut squash raviolmore →

I had a enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a really warm and welcoming vibe. The staff were nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. Disappointing.
Disappointing. We have been here many times but this visit did not live up the same standards as previously. My bolognaise had absolutely no flavour. The pizza we ordered was better, however compared to prices in other locations in Gib, it wasn’t worth paying extra. I’m sad to see the food here is not what we are used to.more →

Absolutely lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. Some great Vegetarian options. The Veggie pizza was one of the best we've had and their Caprese salad had just the best burrata.
