Grill & Grain is a Middle Eastern grill at 228 Main Street. It is not on Tripadvisor; on Google it scores 4.9 from 95 reviews, up from 73 in July, and the Index is 4.80. We re-read the reviews on 6 September 2026: fifteen carry text, every one of them five stars, and the newest was posted that day.

The menu that emerges is schnitzel, shawarma, burgers, pitta and hummus. An August 2026 visitor who ate here every night of a week-long stay singled out the schnitzel; another praised the shawarma, fluffy pittas and smooth, flavourful hummus; Spanish, Polish and Slovak reviewers all rated the burgers, one comparing a plain beef burger with a schnitzel burger and loving both. Our July read described it as a kosher grill from earlier reviews; none in this batch mentions it, though one is written in Hebrew.

Service is praised in nearly every review, and in several languages: kind, warm, friendly, 'super great guys behind the counter'. Portuguese visitors called it an excellent surprise for the welcome as much as the food, and the newest review adds great prices to great food and service.

The honest caveat is that this is a stream of short, uniformly glowing reviews, most of them from July and August 2026, with almost no detail on price or dissent. That is a strong signal, but a narrow one.
