Rock Chicken Shwarma is a kebab and shawarma takeaway in the Water Gardens on Waterport Road, on the Westside. It scores 4.0 on Tripadvisor from a single review and 4.0 on Google from 4, so it is listed on the Index but not ranked. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026 and the newest is from April 2025.

The Tripadvisor review, from 2017, is the only one with any detail: lamb and chicken kebabs are the speciality, and a lamb kebab with chips, salad and chilli sauce was filling and tasty enough to be ordered three times in one week.

Google adds very little: two short lines that the food is good, in 2020 and 2025, and one 2020 one-star about awful customer service on the telephone. That the most recent word is from April 2025 at least suggests it was still trading then.

Great Takeaway
I had a takeaway from here 3 times in the same week. Well my wife was away.......... The speciality is Kebabs, Lamb or Chicken but they have lots of other stuff as well. Lanb kebab with chips and salad with chilli sauce is my guilty pleasure. Very filling and so tastymore →
