Taste Of Persia is a small Persian restaurant and takeaway at 41 Town Range Courtyard. It scores 5.0 on Tripadvisor from 5 reviews and is not on Google, so it is below the fifteen-review threshold and listed but not ranked. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026, but all five date from August 2020, so the picture is six years old.
Those five are specific and warm. A vegan shawarma that a non-vegan reviewer went back for, meatballs, chips made fresh and topped with a shredded lamb sauce called gousht, a tasting menu called fantastic value, and a burger one visitor rated the best they had eaten. More than one reviewer says the food is cooked with love and knowledge, and one made it their regular.

Great tasting food
We came here for a night of music at the venue next to them. They have a special menu for these events. I had a vegan shawarma, which I've had again since, even though I'm not vegan myself. Everything was clearly freshly made. My wife had meatballs, which again, she's had again since. The chips are made fresh and I had it with a shredded more →

Amazing Authentic Persian Food
Taste of Persia is a real treat. The tasting menu is fantastic value with a great selection provided. They now have a dine in option at Rock on the Rock with live music which is excellent.more →

Great authentic persian delight
What a wonderful gem hidden in the heart of Gibraltar. We have been a few times now and I must say, the food appears to be cooked with love and knowledge from a great chef. This is why it has become our go to place to get a delicious meal each time.more →

Absolutely amazing food!
I went to Taste Of Persia the other night, I ordered a burger from Taste Of Persia, and I have to say was the best burger I have ever tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be going for the foreseeable future 😀more →
