Our review
OAKBERRY Açaí is the Gibraltar branch of the Brazilian açaí-bowl chain, tucked into Tuckey's Lane off Main Street. It was a Google-only listing until today; its Tripadvisor page was found and attached on 6 September 2026, so Tripadvisor now counts alongside Google. It stands at 4.7 from 28 Tripadvisor reviews and 4.9 from 163 on Google, for an Index of 4.80. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026, and the newest is from August.
It does one thing: açaí bowls, or rather large cups, built to order from a long toppings bar. Reviewers call the açaí fresh and pure, the bowls filling, the layers pretty, and the service quick. The staff are the most consistent thread in the sample, named and thanked for walking people through the choices; Mariana is singled out on Google, and a Tripadvisor reviewer called the counter service one of the best they have had anywhere.
Price is the main pushback. One reviewer paid £12 for a smoothie and called it extortionate while admitting it was very good; another, in October 2024, ordered for an office, paid £17.90 for the largest size and described the result as an overpriced Slurpee that half the office threw away. That is a lone voice against a long run of five stars, but it is there.
Two practical warnings from 2026. A vegan reviewer in February nearly had collagen added to a bowl, so check the toppings closely if you are strict. And the newest Tripadvisor review, in August, found much of the menu out of stock, including fruit and seeds, with a pleasant but unsure server; it reads as a bad day rather than a trend, since a five-star review followed days later. Seating is a couple of benches and a few tables under an awning.
Come for a fresh, well-made açaí bowl and helpful staff when you want something light and cold; go knowing it is not cheap and it is a snack, not a meal. Nobody from Gibraltar Index has eaten here, and this write-up is drawn from the reviews.

Not worth it
I don’t usually write reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with my experience at Oakberry Gibraltar. I visited Oakberry in Málaga last month and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I expected the Gibraltar location to offer a similar standard. A real treat to round off the day
The young woman behind the counter was exemplary in explaining the numerous choices and then preparing delicious and healthy outcomes. A couple of little benches are the sole seating so it was grand to rest for a while and enjoy the tasty foods.more →

Un délice, je vous recommande vivement de faire un saut jusqu'à cette petite boutique cachée dans une ruelle de Gibraltar. Cela vaut vraiment le détour. Be careful to check the ingredient list closely, if you’re vegan. I almost ended up with collagen in my Golden Almonds “bowl” (which is really a large cup). The collagen container had a badge saying “grass fed” with a picture of a cow. I had to tell the server that “plant-based” meant no animals involved. The bowl (without the collagen) wmore →
