Pizza Hut is the franchise on Casemates Square. It scores 2.4 on Tripadvisor from 141 reviews and a more forgiving 3.7 on Google from 432, and the Index, weighing both, puts it at 3.4; on Tripadvisor it is among the lowest-rated places in town. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026, and the newest is from that week.

For years the biggest grievance was the advertised lunch buffet and salad bar, which reviewers found closed, empty or not replenished within the stated hours. That chapter looks closed: a Spanish visitor in September 2026 says the buffet was removed about two years ago, and no 2026 review mentions it. What remains is the pizza itself, called greasy, tasteless or oily by reviewers in April and September 2026 as well as in older reviews, at prices repeatedly called too high for a chain.

Service is the other refrain, and it has not settled. Older reviews describe bored waitresses who vanished into the kitchen; in August 2026 a Spanish-speaking customer says the man serving, in glasses, was rude and threatening. Deliveries have gone wrong repeatedly, with a swapped, short-topped order in 2024 and a failed 2020 delivery the store would not refund.

The kinder Google score comes from people who got what they expected: a spectacular Sunday pizza in April 2026, a pleasant cashier, a quiet room with efficient service, and a 2023 reviewer who found it better than Domino's with helpful staff. The toilet is outside in the arcade behind, reached through the back door. Older Tripadvisor reviewers kept pointing to Pizza Express round the corner as the better bet.

Wake up.
Ordered offer for 2 people medium pizza, at your choice, 4 pieces of garlic bread and 2 x drinking. 2 to expedite, 1 could very little English, 4 in the kitchen. It took 25 minutes to get the pizza. Nice bottom and mega hot, the chicken you needed lup to find. When the pizza came we asked what about the garlic bread, the other expediente more →

Avoid at all costs!
You’d think from the terrible reviews on here that Pizza Hut would have sorted themselves out by now, but far from it. Pizza Express’ delivery was down so I chanced Pizza Hut. A friend was visiting and wanted pizza, Pizza Hut being her second choice. I ordered 1 small pizza and my friend ordered 1 medium to be delivered. Instead they gavemore →

Ok pizza, no salad bar, poor service
We are regulars in Gibraltar and the kids fancied Pizza Hut and salad bar so I was overruled and we went inside. Place was very, stark I think is the best word. No character, no sauces or condiments or anything on the tables. They advertise buffet and salad bar on the signs outside and despite being within the allotted hours there wasn’t more →

Si a lo que sirven en Nápoles o Roma le llaman pizza, para esto hay que buscar otro nombre. 😉 Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra primera cena en Gibraltar. El local es tranquilo y el servicio es eficiente.
