Our review
The Tunneller's Rest is a small bar inside the WW2 Tunnels attraction on Willis's Road, up on the Rock, scoring 4.4 on Google across 7 reviews. It is not on Tripadvisor, and with fewer than fifteen reviews it is listed on the Index but not ranked. We re-read the reviews on 6 September 2026; there are five with text, the newest from August 2026.
The point is the setting: a beer in a tunnel, as one reviewer's partner put it, at a very reasonable price, before or after the tour. Coffee is served too, and one visitor was simply delighted to find a bar in the cave at all.
The staff are what people remember. Sandro is thanked for walking routes and tips on where else to visit and eat, Christian for going above and beyond with advice, and Andy for drinks served with a smile.
It is a stop attached to an attraction rather than a destination, and five reviews with text is far too few to say more than that everyone who has written has enjoyed it.

Stopped here before and after a tour of the WW2 Tunnels, we still had further exploration of the Rock and more days in Gibraltar, Sandro the barman was very helpful with tips on which ways to walk and where else to visit in Gibraltar for sightseeing and meals.more →
