Trafalgar Sports Bar is a British pub on the junction at Rosia Road, round the corner from the cable car and near the botanical gardens, done out in Leeds United colours with carpets, fruit machines and football on the screens. That newest review is the kind that stays with a pub: a man in Gibraltar to help his ill mother, let in to watch the second half of a rugby league match while Liam, running the bar alone after a long day, cleaned up around him and listened. It is not the only warm one. Summer 2026 visitors praise Magners on tap, a perfect full English, a fresh club sandwich and fish and chips, friendly bar staff and reasonable prices, and one calls it simply a genuine pub, the closest thing to home at that end of town.

The Sunday carvery remains the headline but the verdict on it has moved. Regulars in 2024 and 2025 called it the best roast in Gibraltar, with all three meats and portions enough to feed a submarine crew; an August 2026 reviewer called the Sunday roast less than mediocre and the fry-up the worst they had eaten, and a September 2026 reviewer found the vegetables old and not fresh. That August reviewer, who appears to have posted the same complaint on both sites, also objects to the tired decor, the traffic fumes at the roundabout and how the staff are treated, and points readers to the pub across the road.

Cleanliness and smell are the complaints that recur without any single author.
