Our review

Binky's Kitchen is a small family-run bakery, chocolatier and Greek deli on Turnbull's Lane, seconds from Main Street. It was a Google-only listing until today; its Tripadvisor page was found and attached on 6 September 2026, so Tripadvisor now counts alongside Google and, with 8 Tripadvisor reviews joining 11 on Google, it clears the fifteen-review line and is ranked for the first time. It stands at 5 on both sites, for an Index of 4.70. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026; the newest Google review is from March 2025 and the newest on Tripadvisor from September 2022, so the picture is not fresh.

The sweets are the headline. Fudgy Belgian chocolate brownies in many flavours, brookies, rocky roads, cookie pies, baklava that one reviewer calls the best they have ever eaten, pralines, fudges, lollipops and a Terry's chocolate orange truffle known as Binky's Balls that two reviewers cannot stop talking about. Several call it Gibraltar's only chocolatier, and prices are described as reasonable for the Rock.

The savoury Greek side is the surprise. Spinach and feta parcels, Greek pies and a Greek salad with a homemade dressing were good enough that one couple abandoned their dinner plans; Greek biscuits get a mention too. Bianca, the owner, is named for the welcome, there is coffee, and orders also go through Rock Hero.

The caveats are about evidence rather than product. Seventeen reviews with text, all five stars, is a thin base, and most of the Tripadvisor ones arrived in twos and threes on the same days in summer 2022, which is worth knowing. Nothing has been written on either site for eighteen months.

Come for brownies, baklava and chocolates to take away, or a spinach and feta parcel for lunch; go knowing it is a small shop rather than a café to linger in. Nobody from Gibraltar Index has eaten here, and this write-up is drawn from the reviews.

Incredible treats, wonderful service, every town should have a Binky.
The most delicious savoury snacks and sweet treats. If you're visiting the rock you need to get yourself to this hidden gem just seconds from the mainstreet. Choccywockydoodah Heaven!
You can’t go wrong with a Binky’s treat. Everything from their brownies, cookie pies, homemade pralines and chocolate stirrers to their authentic greek biscuits are all to die for. A def ‘must-try’ if you’re ever in town, I would seriously reccomend their Terry’s Chocolate orange ‘Binkys Balls’ …a dream for the serious chocoholic!more →

Amazing!
As a common traveller to Gibraltar, I am quite familiar with all the best places for a nice treat. However in my most recent visit, I found the beauty that is Binky’s Kitchen. The woman tending the shop was fabulous and so was the range of treats on offer - from sweet, gooey brownies to savoury greek pies I will definitely be coming back more →

BEST CHOCOLATE
I don’t need to say anything. Title says it all!!! I went in, had their binky’s balls… Ladies forget men!!! These balls are better than any you will ever have!! This is coming from a gay queen 💅🏽 Went to heaven and god smacked me with saviour when I tried these balls. Hunni it’s so worth it 💅🏽 If I could give more than a 5 review I’d leavmore →

The baklava are the most delicious I have ever tasted and the pistachio ones yummy too. My fave fave are the black chocolate nut clusters, they hit the spot and very moorish. I’m so glad Binky’s kitchen is round the corner from my house I can always get my fix!!!more →

I honestly cannot recommend this wonderful place highly enough. The amazing Greek treats they produce are such good quality! They put their own little twist onto Greek classics.
