chök is a bakery and coffee bar at 140 Main Street where everything sold is gluten-free. It is not on Tripadvisor; on Google it has 4.0 from 40 reviews, and the Index score is 4.10. We re-read the newest thirteen reviews on 6 September 2026; the most recent, in Spanish, was posted this month.

For coeliacs it is a rare thing, and they say so: one writes that she loved everything and recommends it without reservation, another notes that staff even asked her not to put a coffee cup from another café in their bin, to keep the place free of gluten. The bakes carry the score: a pistachio cinnamon roll whose texture one reviewer called insane, cookies, a chocolate muffin, decent coffee and a counter of cakes. The owners are described as charming by a customer who stopped to talk.

Service is where it splits, and the split has widened this summer. Between late July and early September 2026 five reviews of one or two stars name a rude older woman with red hair, a tall young man who made diners get up from their table for having a coffee from elsewhere, and two visitors asked to leave for holding an energy drink with no gluten-free label. Even a sympathetic three-star review asks for a clear sign at the door explaining the rule, and a German visitor found bread unavailable two days running despite being promised it.
