Costa Coffee's Midtown branch is on Reclamation Road, described as a new store in a May 2026 review, and it has 4.2 on Google from just 6 reviews. It is not on Tripadvisor, and with fewer than 15 reviews it is listed on the Index but not ranked. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026; five carry text, the newest from August 2026.
What the reviews like is the room. One regular Costa customer calls it their new favourite coffee shop in Gibraltar for the new fit-out and the amount of seating inside and out; a Spanish reviewer says no other café in Gibraltar feels so much like a coffee shop; the August review recommends it for a peaceful coffee away from the tourists. The flat white, a strawberry matcha with coconut milk, a ham and cheese croissant and a tuna panini are the orders named.
The one-star review from April 2026 is the honest counterweight: a wrap that tasted bad with chicken not properly cooked, an order the staff forgot, and poor value. I think this is my new favourite Coffee Shop in Gibraltar. I’m a Costa Coffee customer already, but love this new store decoration and it has plenty of seating inside and out. Flat White was amazing as always.more →

Really loved this place! I tried the strawberry matcha with coconut milk and it was SO good . I’ve had matcha in other cafés before but this one was honestly on another level. Not too sweet, really fresh, and the flavours worked so well together. The food was also really tasty. Definitely recommend if you like matcha or just want a nice cmore →

We ordered a wrap that could not eat it really bad taste and chiken not cooked properly. Service they forgot what we ordered and had to remind them what we had. Wouldnt recommend it. Poor quality for the value you paymore →
