era. is a fast-casual counter in the ICC at the Irish Town end of the centre, built around a choice of protein with two sides and a printed protein count for each plate. It holds 4.3 on Tripadvisor from 12 reviews and 4.8 on Google from 19, which gives an Index of 4.50. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026 and the newest are from early September and late August.

The picture changed in August 2026. In July the reviews were unanimous fives; on 15 August two one-star Tripadvisor reviews arrived, one calling it influencer bait with an expensive smoothie, a limited menu, several dishes off for the day and a sliver of steak that could not contain the protein claimed, the other describing an understaffed kitchen, slow service and a location that replaced the men's toilets at the back of the ICC. Two Google four-stars from the same fortnight are gentler but agree on the specifics: at least three menu items unavailable, a chicken thigh smaller than the stated protein would suggest, and service slower than fast-fine food should be.

The good reviews are just as specific. The tofu and the steak plates, the sweet potato fries with beetroot ketchup, a homemade harissa and the refillable lemonades and juices are all named, the smoothie is called the best in Gibraltar by one person, and a parent of a child with allergies describes the cook coming out to explain and adjust the dish. Offices get lunches delivered, the coffee is praised, and the room is used for study.

Read together, the reviews describe a good idea that is not always executed on the day: fresh, healthy plates when everything is in stock and the kitchen is keeping up, and frustration when it is not. Amazing healthy food in Gibraltar !
Finally had the chance to sit down and have a meal at Era . I’ve had takeaway from here a number of times and it never disappoints . Today I had the tofu , and my partner had the steak , we were both really impressed . Everything was full of flavour , with plenty of high protein options for vegans , vegetarians and meat eaters . Very disappointing experience. 😕 I went with my partner a few days ago because the place seemed so hyped up on Instagram, but honestly, don’t fall for the marketing!!! Very good concept, nice design, friendly staff, enjoyed the homemade lemonades which you can refill as many times you need, also the meal itself was very tasty, chicken tights cooked perfectly.
