Häagen-Dazs is the ice-cream chain's café at the ICC, by Casemates Square. It holds a 5.0 on Tripadvisor from 3 reviews and 4.8 on Google from 222, and the Index puts it at 4.80. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026 and the newest is from this month.

The product is what you would expect: rich, creamy ice cream in a good range of flavours (pistachio and cream is singled out), plus sundaes, milkshakes, lemonades, cakes, cookies and Illy coffee. One long August 2026 review calls the coffee aromatic and well made, and more than one visitor mentions the air conditioning as a relief on a hot day.

What sets the recent reviews apart is the staff. David, Nina and Aura are named again and again across the summer of 2026 for patient, smiling service, flavour recommendations and switching easily between Spanish and English; one reviewer says the service was even better than the dessert.

The dissent is about the same thing. Three one-star Google reviews from July and August 2026 describe rude or brusque staff, one pointing to an older woman in particular, and a Polish reviewer found the tables left uncleared. Price is the other note: a scoop and a cappuccino came to £6.80, which a Tripadvisor reviewer called expensive, like everything in the city.
