Our review
La Parrilla On The Go is the takeaway and delivery outlet of the La Parrilla fusion kitchen, on Cornwall's Parade off Main Street. It is not on Tripadvisor; on Google it scores 4.0 from 24 reviews, and the Index puts it at 4.10. The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026; the newest is from September 2025.
The older reviews, from 2018 to 2023, explain the score. They describe Indian and Oriental fusion by a chef named Negi, dishes cooked to order from fresh produce, a teriyaki chicken called awesome with lovely chefs and quick service, and a local's go-to gourmet takeaway.
The picture has changed since late 2024, and three of the four newest reviews are poor. A December 2024 delivery arrived without its vegetables, with thin soggy discs in place of sweet potato wedges and a warm, half-full £6 protein smoothie that tasted of banana milk; another that month came with part of the order missing and then wrong. In September 2025 a long-standing customer found her chicken salad box had doubled in price from £6.80 to £12.90, with less chicken and blackening spinach, and staff who spoke only Spanish. An older Spanish review describes a three-hour wait for a wrong order.

Very dissatisfied! As a long -time customer, I ordered a chicken salad box (a previous favourite of mine). Staff couldn't communicate well at all, only speaking Spanish. The serving of chicken was measly compared to before and spinach was going black. Over everything, the price has doubled from previous. This was previously £6.80 and is nmore →

Our meal was a disaster. We ordered from the delivery partner app and the photos of the food on the app looked delicious. However, our food looked nothing like the pictures. Our meals came without vegetables and our “sweet potato wedges” were far from the wedges on their picture. Rather, they were thin soggy discs of sweet potato. To top more →
