Pina Colada

Pina Colada is a cocktail kiosk in Casemates Square that does one drink, scoring 4.1 on Google across 27 reviews. It is not on Tripadvisor, so the Index of 4.20 rests on Google alone; it has passed the fifteen-review line since our last read and is now ranked. We re-read the reviews on 6 September 2026 and the newest is from 5 September.

All eighteen reviews with text were posted between late July and early September 2026, and they split hard. The majority are five stars and extravagant: the best piña colada in Europe, better than Cuba, better than the Caribbean, creamy and well balanced with natural pineapple, served with a bit of theatre by a warm team, Ana among them. A non-alcoholic version is available.

The price is the fault line. Two September reviewers paid £29 for a single drink and left feeling stung, one calling it a scam for a cocktail with almost no alcohol; an August visitor found £25 not worth it for a too-sweet drink heavy on cinnamon, and another simply called it the worst and dearest piña colada in history. On the other side, a group of three shared one for about twenty and thought it a bargain, which suggests the serving is large and meant for sharing.

Two smaller notes: the server offered to add more alcohol after mixing, so the strength can be adjusted if you ask, and a French visitor felt the wall of pineapples on the counter looked so much like barbed wire it kept customers away.
