The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026; the newest is from April, and Tripadvisor has had nothing since January.

The Tripadvisor picture is warm and staff-led. Moses is named in six reviews for menu recommendations and checking on tables, Alex is credited with knowing what regulars want before they order and with serving the same group every Friday after work, and Maria at the takeaway counter is thanked for her smile. The daily specials are the tip, with the sea bass and the meatballs named, and the pizza, the olives and the Lavazza coffee all get mentions. Prices are called outstanding for the area. It is worth noting that eight of those reviews landed in a single week of December 2025, most naming Moses, which reads like a push rather than a steady flow.

Google, smaller and more spread out, is harsher. A weekly regular in April 2026 calls the people the nicest and the coffee great, and says dogs are welcome. But a Polish reviewer in July 2025 found the food greasy, dishes forgotten and staff without English, another wrote 'average food, poor staff', and older reviews record being ignored for 20 minutes in a near-empty room and a £9.10 breakfast the reviewer called garbage. An English breakfast, a chicken tagliatelle with goat's cheese and a veggie burger are the dishes praised there.

So it reads as a well-run lunch when the right person is on, and a forgettable one otherwise. Nobody reviews it as a dinner, and it sits in an office plaza rather than anywhere with a view.
