The reviews were re-read on 6 September 2026, but the newest is from January 2020, so the picture is more than six years old.

What reviewers liked was the personal touch. The chef would come out from behind the counter to ask how hot you wanted it and, by several accounts, judge the chilli perfectly; one cook let customers taste before ordering. Chilli chicken, chicken korma, malai kofta, king prawns in a curry sauce, onion bhajis and a chilli-butter garlic naan all get named, fresh and quick, at prices reviewers called worth it.

It is a takeaway with barely room to sit, though a family of five was happily let to perch at a table, and the phone rang constantly with orders, which one reviewer took as the best recommendation. In 2018 the owners hoped to find premises for a full restaurant.
