Our review
The Lunchbox is a breakfast and lunch café in the Eurotowers complex on Europort Road. It is not on Tripadvisor; on Google it scores 3.7 from 35 reviews, and the Index is 3.90. We re-read the reviews on 6 September 2026: only seven carry text, the newest from August 2026.
The score is an average of two eras. The two one-star reviews are both from September 2022: one is a furious account of poor hygiene, staff chatting instead of serving and cheap food, the other a photo of a £5.50 Retinto burger the reviewer called a disgrace.
Everything written since is positive. Homemade stews were called excellent in 2024, a good selection and lively room with great service in 2023, and the two 2026 reviews, in July and August, describe fresh food, great prices, a magnificent place for breakfast and lunch and, twice over, superb staff.
Come for a cheap, fresh breakfast or lunch if you work around Eurotowers; the last four years of reviews suggest a place that has moved on from its 2022 complaints.
