The draw is local home cooking of the kind that is hard to find on Main Street. A torta de patata made fresh daily, with or without onions, homemade salads with fresh vegetables and a spinach pie one reviewer calls especially delicious are all named, and the menu is wide enough that people say they are spoilt for choice. Prices are called affordable.

Service gets the same warmth as the food: helpful, super friendly, efficient. One reviewer from 2019 credits the cooking to a Nicola and calls it classic Gibraltar cuisine, and a Spanish regular calls it their favourite place to order food in Gibraltar.
